Life at HomeSchool Beach Nosara is active, creative and exciting. We are a diverse, accepting learning environment where each student is both respected as an individual and nurtured as a member of an extended network that includes teacher, friends, families, and the community.
Our small class size allows us to challenge each student academically, as well as to play to their strengths and explore what excites them. As the role of the teacher, I create a sense of family, and promote respect for each other and responsibility for humankind and the environment.
Since we know that some of the best learning occurs when “doing”, students engage in real world projects along with more traditional classroom curriculum. Students also learn through field trips, community events (i.e. monthly Art Fair), and present presentations to their classmates, parents and community.
